I am sad that Grey Bruce still does not have any climbing facility. It's designed for a single-off use and not for returning - a tourism attraction. ![]() Despite friendly summer students, this is not the spirit of rock climbing that I am used to.Īlso, the park is far too small to warrant a yearly ticket. I wanted to host a children's birthday party but decide not to. It was totally calm, I was the only person in the area - I definitely did not cause any bother. When I came back with water and a coffee after 15 mins (my parents were watching the child), managerial staff returned and wanted to not let me in again or charge another $20 for supervising my kid for the last hour of opening. I did not pressure the person - I asked whether she can pass me along to managerial staff so she would not go in trouble. When I asked to get a refreshment from our car, the friendly staff person explained that they usually only allow that for day ticket holders, but offered an exception for me as caregiver. Today, I was caregiver for my 6-year-old, accompanied by her grandparents (one immobile, the other 80 and no English). Fun little park, but the level of profit-mongering is concerning. ![]()
